Tricked by those he considered allies, launched into deep space against his will, marooned on an alien planet, captured and forced to compete in gladiatorial games. The "Green Scar" rises above, goes through, and runs over those in his path, leading the rebels to freedom! That is the basic plot of Planet Hulk!

"The book is always better" opinion rings true here.

Superman/Supergirl: Maelstrom (Review)

Citizen's Grade: Sucked.

This mini-series collected in graphic novel form had promise. Superman, Supergirl, Darkseid, & a "evil" lover who wanted to be Darkseid's Queen. But after the first page it fizzled out to nothing.

Green Lantern Corps: Emerald Eclipse (Review)

Citizen's Grade: Impressive.

The Green Lantern Corps series has been just as awesome as the parent title recently! Peter Tomasi works hand-in-hand with Geoff Johns to present some of DC Comic's finest work to date with this latest volume: Emerald Eclipse.

This volume is all over the place. While The Guardians are in Sector 2828 with other members of the G.L. Corps (see: Green Lantern Agent Orange), Kyle Rayner & Guy Gardner are on OA dealing with the recent "law" that members of the Corps cannot marry or have relationships. Raynor also is planning a mural to the Corps members who have passed. A secret relationship is revealed between Kyle & Soranik.

Green Lantern: Agent Orange (Review)

Citizen's Grade: Impressive.

The Green Lantern franchise continues to be the best that DC Comics has to offer. Geoff Johns is a genius, as all his previous volumes prove. Agent Orange follows more revelations that the Guardians of the Universe have been trying to hide for eons! When The Controllers try and harness their own version of a ring power source they come upon Larfreeze, guardian of the orange light of avarice! Meanwhile, the Guardians of the Universe are putting Hal Jordan through the wringer over wearing the Blue Lantern's ring (which he cannot get off until he hopes for something with sincerity).

Batman: Wrath (Review)

Citizen's Grade: Sucked.

This collection from the Batman Confidential series left me greatly disappointed. The story follows the Wrath; both the original and the "second", as they try to destroy Batman. The original Wrath; born out of the similar tragedy as Bruce Wayne, is the anti-Batman. Of course The Batman outwits his evil "twin", but his protege; the second Wrath, comes back years later to finish the job his mentor couldn't.

300 (Review)

Citizen's Grade: Awesome!

The movie based on Frank Miller's graphic Novel and the actual historical story is one of the best action films ever made...period! Starring Gerard Butler as King Leonidas, who leads his 300 Spartan Warriors to battle on the Greek Coast against the massive Persian army. The film's special effects are spectacular, gory, and almost constant. How they found that many bodybuilders who could act is beyond me...lol.
